Brown sugar is less abrasive in something like a sugar scrub. Try out this recipe and enjoy it for yourself!
When I began creating sugar scrub recipes, I knew I wanted variety. I did a lot of research prior to landing on a few favorite scents. However, I knew I wanted to create something my husband could use. A musky scent, perfect for a man or someone who likes earthy notes.
Enter in – brown sugar and cedarwood essential oils.
Prior to making a brown sugar sugar scrub, I made a lavender sugar scrub and an essential oil blend sugar scrub. I didn’t realize what a difference using something like brown sugar would make! This sugar scrub is much less abrasive than a traditional granulated sugar sugar scrub. Consider using brown sugar for sensitive skin.
